GradingsThe grading system allows the SMA to maintain standards across all the SMA Kickboxing clubs. These are examinations to judge your proficiency in a number of techniques which are outlined in the syllabus. Your instructor will be present for your examination, but the examiner(s) will be one or more senior SMA instructors with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience after receiving their Kickboxing black belt grade. Gradings will be held two or three times a year. You will be given several weeks notice to prepare. Your instructor will advise you if they think you are ready to grade.
On passing you will be presented with a belt of the appropriate colour and a certificate.
